Swiftium System Features
Reads any 2D and 1D barcode
Understands the format of any barcodes. Makes it readable for a human being in minute by using our Web Interface to setup the device remotely.
Using our wireless option each barcode read is sent immediately to the Swiftium Web site where the data can be viewed, searched and downloaded in Excel or text format.
All the barcodes that are read are saved on the Blackberry SD card. With a computer the data on the SD card can be viewed and saved as an Excel or text file and automatically uploaded to the Swiftium servers. A USB SD card adaptor is provided. The user keeps the SD card and the adaptor, complimentary of Swiftium.

Special Features
Custom Questions
There is an option to setup each blackberry with a set of custom questions using our Web Interface and send the set of questions to the device. After reading a barcode, the user can answer the questions. The set of answers is automatically associated with each barcode and can be viewed at anytime for later use.
Session Tracking
From the Swiftium Web Interface, a list of sessions can be created and sent remotely to the device. From the device, the user can select the appropriate session. Each time a barcode is read, the data is associated to the current session.
Access Control
Swiftium gives you the tools and the know how to encode in each barcode the rights for a person to access a specific event. A set of events is associated to a device. Upon a specific event chosen on the device and the data encoded in the barcode, the device indicates if the event can be attended or not.
Taking Notes
Using the full keyboard of the Blackberry, the user can take notes after a barcode has been read. Each note will be associated with the barcode that has been read and can be consulted for later use.
Printing
There is the option to connect the device with our portable Bluetooth printer and print in a readable format the barcodes that are read. The printing reports the notes and the custom questions answers for each badge.

Special Features for Show Organizers
Data push
The Swiftium system has the capability to push in real time all the data that is read by the devices to the Show organizers system. Swiftium uses XML Web services to push the data. The data can be pushed as well from the SD card from a computer with an Internet connection. The SD card has a preinstalled program that performs the data push automatically in one single click.

Show or Event monitoring [pat. pend.]
Swiftium makes available our monitoring program that can be run from any Windows platform with an Internet connection. The monitoring system monitors all the devices for a specific event.
It indicates remotely for each device:
- Battery level
- Time and Date
- Number of reads
- Location of the device
- The setup identifier
- The custom questions identifier when available
- The current session when available.
From the monitoring application the time and date and the session can be changed remotely. Each device can be turned off remotely from the program.
Local database setup and lookup [pat. pend.]
This feature is used when 1D barcodes are used. Swiftium can load an entire database on each SD card that contains the data associated for each 1D barcode for a specific event. As soon as a 1D barcode is read, the device looks for the corresponding data on its SD card (First Name, Last Name etc.) and displays it on the Blackberry screen, then sends the data on the Swiftium server and saves the data into an Excel or Text format.
If onsite registration is performed, the show organizer can send in real-time the new registered data to the Swiftium servers, then the data is broadcasted to all the devices used for that show and saved into the existing SD card database.
